Faith is my middle name...

Alright, so it was supposed to be witty. ;)

The reason for the title of this post is that I've been learning, and re-learning, about the Lord's faithfulness recently. It seems like after years, I would learn. But, I'm human and my understanding isn't quite at the same level as God's... in fact, it's nowhere close. As I go through the process leading up to moving to France, I'm pushed (more than usual) to rely on the Lord's faithfulness.

Sometimes, I think like I expect God to prove himself to me, as if he actually has something to prove. The truth is, he doesn't have anything to prove. He's ALWAYS faithful. Always has been, always will be... completely faithful. Now, this doesn't mean he does every little thing that jumps into my mind. However, when I'm following, listening and obeying him; he always is faithful to what he promises. He doesn't hang me out to dry.

God has many names... but if my middle name is Faith, I think his middle name is Faithful. He's what I have faith in. Jesus Faithful Christ. Hmm... has a nice ring to it. ;)
