July Already!

I can't believe it's already July!? I know I say this in almost every post... but time flies (and continues to do so)! In 2 months, I'll be leaving home to live/minister/learn in Marseille, France for 1 year and 4 months. When I come back, I'll only have 1 semester left until I graduate from the Bachelors program I'm in at school. When I think back 3 years ago, it hadn't even crossed my mind that I might live in a foreign country for over a year. I guess God had different plans than I did... and I like His plans a lot better! He's so good.

This past week we celebrated my Gramma's 90th birthday! She was born on July 4th, so we usually have a party/family reunion most years. This year the relatives from Washington, Texas, California and New York made it up for the party and it was really good to see them all again! Plus all of my Minnesota relatives too! :)

As far as preparations for France go, I'm getting pretty excited! I still have some support left to raise. I currently have about $1,115 pledged per month, meaning I still am in need of $580 in monthly support while I'm in France. For my set-up fund I have received $11,500 and am still need about $2,500 in one-time gifts. I am so thankful to the Lord for his provision and everyone who has prayed for me and supported me financially! Praise the Lord!
