Well, here we are... September! And it's the end of September, too! It's amazing how time goes by. This has been the first month of my last semester of internship. It seems like I'm just getting adjusted to life and ministry here, and in just 2 1/2 months I'll be saying goodbye and flying back to the US for Christmas and then my last semester of university. Things here in Marseille have started back up after the summer and life has definitely gotten a lot busier! The church services have started again and it's been great to see everyone from church again! The student groups are starting up in the beginning of next month, so we have been handing out fliers to get the word out the past week or so. Below is a photo of me and Cecilia during one of those days.
We also got to go to the Chateau D'If one afternoon earlier this month as a cultural/tourist outing. It was cool to see, and it was a beautiful day. I love living near the sea, with the blue skies and waters. It's so beautiful!

Here it is! Apparently they didn't use this in the Count of Monte Cristo, it was just based off of this. They filmed in Malta, I believe. |
